MAUI, HAWAII

ROAD TO HANA
In July of 2023, I visited Maui, Hawaii with my family. My favorite part of the trip was driving on the Road to Hana: a 64.4 mile long road with one way in and one way out that connects Kahului to the town of Hana. Along the road there are several hiking trails, waterfalls, pools, restaurants, and natural hot springs. One spot I'd recommend visiting is Keopuka Rock, also known as the "Jurassic Rock" because the original Jurassic Park was filmed there. The rock is near the Garden of Eden, a stunning garden and arboretum along the road. At the end of the road, you'll find the Seven Scared pools in Haleakala National Park.
BRECKENRIDGE, COLORADO

In August of 2021, my family and I visited Breckenridge, Colorado. This wonderful town is known for several activities during the winter and summer months. During summer visitors usually visit historical sights, go hiking and biking, and take part in rafting tours. During the winter, which I've experienced as well, skiing, snowboarding, and dog sledding are popular. My family and I went rafting on the Arkansas River in 50 degree weather. You'll see me in the picture on the left covering my face with my undershirt because of how cold it was. Despite the weather, it's definitely an experience.

YUCATAN PENINSULA
In June of 2021, my sister and I visited Cancun, Mexico. We stayed close to the Yucatan Peninsula at an all inclusive resort called Xcaret. The most exciting part of this trip was taking a journey to Xenses, an immersive attraction park. We swam in a mud river, a natural cave, and went paddle boarding in the natural lagoons right outside of our hotel. Xcaret is dedicated to celebrating and preserving Mexican culture and history. Throughout the park, you can explore recreated Mayan villages and attend performances that highlight Mexican culture.
